EFSC Foundation Receives $10,000 Donation from Amazing Grace 5K
The Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) Foundation has received a generous $10,000 donation from the Made for More Movement following its annual Amazing Grace 5K Run & Walk, held October 18 on EFSC’s Palm Bay Campus.
The check was presented to EFSC Foundation Interim Executive Director Victoria Jones by Made for More Movement founders Tammy Hilton, Sherry Grace, and Amanda Hilton.
The Amazing Grace 5K was launched in 2024 by the families of Rikki Grace and Dr. Megan Grace—two young women who were tragically killed by a drunk driver on October 18, 2022, while participating in a fun run.
Although the women were not related, their families united to honor their memory through this event.
Proceeds from the race support two scholarships: the Rikki Grace Memorial Scholarship and the Dr. Megan Grace Memorial Scholarship, each funded with $5,000 from this year’s donation.
“Both Rikki and Megan attended EFSC,” said Sherry Grace. “We wanted to honor their memory by creating scholarships that continue their legacy. We’re proud to have raised another $10,000 this year to help build these scholarships.”
Jones expressed gratitude for the gift, saying, “It is such a privilege to help these two special families honor the legacies of their daughters. These scholarships will inspire and motivate deserving EFSC students—changing lives and launching futures.”
