George Roman Joins EFSC Foundation Board of Directors
The Eastern Florida State College Foundation recently elected George Roman to serve on its Board of Directors.
A resident of Brevard County since 1958, Roman attended Stetson University and graduated from California State University, San Bernardino. After graduation, he spent five years in Huntington Beach, California working for McDonnell-Douglas Aeronautics and then Interstate Electronics.
In 1976, he returned to Brevard County and opened his own business in floorcovering, K&Y Carpet One, a full- service residential and commercial flooring company.
In 2002 he opened ProSource of Brevard, offering trade professionals and their clients flooring options as well as kitchen and bath countertops, cabinets and other fixtures.
He is the Chairman of the Board of the Board for Steward Medical Group which includes both the Melbourne Regional Medical Center and the Rockledge Regional Medical Center.
He is very active in his church, Saint Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, where he serves on the Board of Directors, president of the Annual Festival, and is involved in several youth activities.
He is a past Home Builders and Contractors Association board member, and a past member of many local advisory councils.
He will serve alongside board members including Moses Harvin, II (Chair), Randy Coleman (Vice Chair), Mel Mills (Treasurer), Stephanie A. Bergsieker, Adam Bird, Trizia Ginarella Eavenson, Judy B. Healy, Dan Kelley, John Kuchta, Thomas LaFlore, David Lightholder, Mark S. Mikolajczyk, Bill Row and Natasha Spencer.
